Industrial warehouses are mostly equipped with automatic sprinkler extinguishing systems. If the stored goods are sensitive to extinguishing water or if the use of large quantities of extinguishing water would lead to significant financial damage, a water mist system is recommended instead of a sprinkler system. For both technologies, external parts susceptible to frost should be designed as dry lines or coated with an anti-freeze product.
